Students Getting in the Spirit for Haunted Homecoming

Brynna Benjamin, Editor in Chief

Verrado High School spent the week leading up to the 2019 Haunted Homecoming participating in spirit days, fun decorations and a spooky assembly matching the theme of October and Halloween.

Monday consisted of Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, participating students came to school dressed in their sleepwear. On Supernatural Tuesday students came decked out in anything of the paranormal, vampires, witches, zombies and monsters. Night Of The Living Dead Wednesday, students came to school dressed as their favorite meme or vine because “Vine isn’t dead.” Thursday everyone dressed as their Halloween costume for this year, this was the most popular. Last but not least, Friday, World War V, the clash of the classes, each class came to school dressed in a different color.

Student Government did an excellent job preparing the school for this year’s Halloween themed dance. Every hallway had a different theme relating to the overall Haunted spirit. Streamers, spiderwebs, and posters were on every wall pumping the students with excitement.
