With fall right around the corner, people are finding themselves eager for the season. With autumn leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, and the finest fall scents roaming the air, who wouldn’t be? However, how are people planning to still enjoy their favorite fall traditions with COVID-19 still being an issue? Here are a few activities you can still enjoy this fall.

How about Pumpkin patches? If you’re still craving walking through the fields of pumpkins galore, then picking out the perfect pumpkin to display for your neighbors, you might still be in luck. Rocker 7 Farm Patch, a local pumpkin patch in Maricopa County, is still open on Sundays. Although only open on Sundays 6:30-8:30 am, it could be a great start to an Autumn morning. And what’s a better way to get in the spooky season spirit than to carve pumpkins!

Maybe you’re looking forward to staying indoors this fall, but that doesn’t mean you have to be bored. Perhaps you could throw a movie marathon, with all your favorite horror films. Who doesn’t enjoy curling up in your fuzzy socks with a bowl of popcorn, and watching a classic horror film, like The Shining! A cozy, yet spooky way to get in the spirit! While you’re curled up at home, you could also try making some fall treats, such as pumpkin pie, caramel apples, or an at-home pumpkin spice latte! With dozens of simple recipes out there, you can make all the goodies you like.

If you’re tired of being indoors, there are endless outdoor activities you can do as well. You could take a nice bike ride through your neighborhood, while you pass by all the fall leaves. With the nice autumn breeze hitting you, it could be a great addition to your day. A nice hike could also be a great way to spend your day. With lots of local mountains and trails in Arizona, you could spend the day with nature and get in a good workout as well. Lastly, you could spend a nice autumn afternoon enjoying a picnic at a local park. With your favorite foods, a nice autumn wind, and colorful leaves everywhere, it is a great way to enjoy this fall!

Although times are tough, you don’t have to let it ruin your fall season too. There are so many things to do that will get you into the fall spirit, as long as you make the most of it. Fall can be our time to take a step back and enjoy things. Consider taking this time to turn over a new leaf!
