Are you a horror movie fan? If you are, then you probably are excited for fall to come, since not only is it the best time to watch your favorite scary movies, it’s also the time where the most horror movies are released. So, as we buckle up for the spooky season, let’s take a look at a few new horrors we can expect in the next few months.

To kick off the season, on September 10, 2021, Warner Bros productions is releasing a new movie called “Malignant”. Directed by James Wan, known for The Conjuring movies, and starring Annabelle Wallis, Jake Abel, and Mckenna Grace, there might be some familiar faces. Malignant is about a woman overcome by fear as she comes to the sick realization that her terrifying dreams are terrifying realities, and as her investigations go on, a hidden past is revealed involving her parents. This thriller/horror movie will be available in Theatres and on HBOmax on its release date and might be the perfect way to get in the scary spirits of fall.

Directed by David Gordon Green, a new movie is heading to town on October 15, 2021, with the title “Halloween Kills”. This movie is the continuation of the Halloween series about Micheal Myers and Laurie Strode, played by James Jude Courtney and Jamie Lee Curtis. In this particular movie, injured Laurie Strode leads an intense mob hunt to track down Micheal Myers in order to put an end to his horrifying power. So, if you’re a follower of this thrilling saga, this movie will be a must-see!

Just in time for Halloween, a dark and twisty horror “Last Night in Soho” will be released on October 29, 2021. Directed by Edgar Wright, known for movies like Baby Driver and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The Universe, his fanbase is excited to see his first-ever true horror movie. This movie follows an aspiring fashion designer who enters the 1960’s in London, where she meets a wannabe singer but learns the dazzling life is not what it seems, and the story starts to twist into something much darker. What better way to celebrate the holiday than watching an intriguing psychological thriller?

As the anticipation for the season goes on, at least we can prepare to celebrate the awaiting arrival by adding these movies to our must-watch list. And don’t forget to spread scary joy by getting your other horror-loving friends excited too, because once the season rolls around, everyone’s gonna be on the edge of their seats for these releases, so hold on tight and get your popcorn ready!
