Maia Thompson is currently a junior at Verrado High School who has a passion for Journalism. During her sophomore year, she decided to try out the class and had a good experience. To add, Thompson was fascinated with all the different topics that you could write about. She often enjoys writing about what goes on in the art and entertainment world. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in writing. When she's not busy with National Honors Society or swimming, Thompson enjoys spending time with her friends. Her friends would describe her as creative, caring, and hardworking. Thompson also enjoys traveling and spending time with her two dogs, Geddy and Tito. Thompson is a friendly and hardworking student. Currently, she is a student in Journalism III.
