As of Oct. 6, 2025, SNO Sites, the publishing platform that helps power the Viper Times, has awarded our publication a new badge of recommendation for the latest episode of our student podcast, Viper Club Cast: Forensics.
This recognition marks a major milestone for our journalism team and showcases the growing reputation of the Viper Times across student media networks.
Everyone on the Viper Times staff was thrilled to hear the news. “I’m shocked that we were recognized by SNO Sites,” said contributor Magnolia Amadeus. “While making the podcast, I felt nervous and happy at the same time. Knowing my voice would be published made me a little anxious, but I pushed through because I had more confidence than fear. The Club Spotlight series was fun to create, and I’m really proud of what Antonio and I accomplished.”
Amadeus, along with Antonio Larson, produced the Viper Club Cast: Forensics episode that earned the SNO badge. Their teamwork and creativity helped bring the story to life. “I feel pretty flattered with the SNO recognition,” Larson said. “I hope that in the future, it’ll help me out when building my resume or applying for jobs.”
For the Viper Times, this achievement represents more than just an award—it’s a reflection of the dedication and talent within our student-run newsroom. Each staff writer, editor, and officer works toward a shared goal: to give students a platform to explore the world of journalism from their own perspective.
Earning this SNO badge not only boosts our credibility but also inspires future journalists to join the team. It’s proof that student voices matter and that quality storytelling can come from anywhere—even a high school newsroom.
With achievements like this, we’re proud to call ourselves Vipers and even prouder to call ourselves storytellers. Congratulations again to Magnolia Amadeus and Antonio Larson for helping put the Viper Times on the map—and here’s to even more recognition to come.
