Fourth Generation boy group Tomorrow X Together released their newest comeback, The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY, on November 4, 2024. Six new songs were introduced to their discography, covering many genres and sounds, some of which they have done before and others more experimental.

The group consists of five members, Soobin acting as the leader along with members, Taehyun, Yeonjun, Heuning Kai, and Beomgyu. Each with skills and talents that give the group a unique and profound sound. The group debuted back on March 4, 2019, with their song titled, “Crown.” Being in the same company as hit K-pop sensations BTS, it is to be expected that they would quickly rise in popularity, garnering millions of adoring fans.

Fans heavily anticipated the group’s new comeback, with thousands waiting patiently for the music video to drop on their YouTube channel.

The group is known for each of the members’ distinctive voices and tones and the diversity that they can achieve with their soothing singing voices against their intense and harsh rapping. As talented as the group is, they can branch out to other genres and concepts as shown in their song “Danger.” The song attempts a different direction from “Over the Moon”, having a more grungy and indie feel changing their captivating voices to a more rugged and dark tone. As opposed to “Over the Moon” being more about the appreciation of the person they love, “Danger” takes a more unhealthy obsessed approach often saying things such as, “You are my ride or die…” and “damn I’m so obsessed.” This creates a more intense adoration towards a person they hold very close.

In another track with the name of “Resist (Not Gonna Run Away),” the group begins with a devoted appreciative tone stating things such as, “When I see you, I can resist, you’re my one and only” and “I can’t exist, without you” These lyrics and the style of music effectively creating a character that is so in love that they are unwilling to go on without the person they love. The song brings out a more pop-like feel including impressive notes and taking inspiration from Latin genres such as reggaeton cultivating a charming sound so distinctive and special to the Tomorrow x Together sound that fans adore immensely.

Once the album was released the group did many things to promote it, such as collaborating with other popular groups such as Illit and Kep1er in TikTok challenges and videos.
