Are you feeling the heat? We certainly are due to the heatwave that has been terrorizing Arizona for quite a bit now with the recent 110+ degree weather.

In the near future however, things will be cooling down. However, in the meantime, the question is: “How do we beat the heat?”

Well, in this article we’ll give you some indoor activities to do so you can stay cool during the remainder of the summer months and a few cooling outdoor activities, too!

One indoor activity one could do is go to an indoor trampoline park that is close by! Trampoline parks are very spacious and mostly air conditioned areas are perfect for letting go of any excess energy one might have.

Alternatively, DIY is also a really good time killer. While waiting for the weather to chill out there’s a multitude of things such as graphic design, hand turkeys and many more of the like. While you’re inside the house, and the bonus of being able to chow down on some delicious frozen foods like popsicles, ice cream, and more!

Other methods to staying cool are going outside later during the evenings and enjoying the warm air with friends and family by doing things like stargazing, night walks, and late night barbecues.

If waiting to go outside is too boring, there’s always the nearby pool to go to! Everyone loves pools, right? The most obvious benefit is the cooling effect. When it’s hot out, submerging yourself in cool water helps lower body temperature quickly. It’s like a natural air conditioner for the body. Additionally, getting in the pool is mentally calming. Pools offer a perfect setting to disconnect.

Not near the pool or a waterpark but have a backyard? Then fill up some water balloons and get a hose and just run around the backyard with family and a few friends and even the dog can join in!

Don’t feel like doing any of the previously mentioned activities and just wanna laze around? then as long as there’s a fan nearby and some decent air conditioning in the house then might as well simply just lay in bed all day and chug water or play video games on the computer

While it’s been hot out, these provided methods will guarantee you’re able to cool yourself down in the midst of a heatwave and never have to suffer sweating all day ever again!
