On December 26, 2017, however, people all over the U.S. reported the exact same rocket people saw on March 18th, 2024. On December 26th, 2017 the rocket was called the Falcon 9 by Elon Musk. Sophomore Sarah Gonzolez stated that. “My thoughts about it when I first saw it I thought something broke through the atmosphere, maybe a meteor, and also seemed like it was coming toward me until soon after I found out what it was but it was a very cool experience to watch it.” She said.
One of SpaceX’s most significant achievements is the development of reusable rocket technology. By landing and refurbishing the first stages of its Falcon rockets. SpaceX has drastically reduced the cost of space travel and revolutionized the economy. There have been 320 launches in the past 14 years, with 318 successes.
