In a development that’s disrupting the West Valley fashion landscape, Wornstar Clothing — the energetic, rock-themed clothing brand favored by both artists and enthusiasts — has officially launched in Goodyear, just a few minutes away from Verrado. Although it lies outside Verrado’s official boundaries, the spirit of this rock ‘n’ roll resurgence is already flowing into the chic and expanding master-planned community.
Founded in Chicago by Stephen and Sylvia Jensen, Wornstar Clothing has established a name for itself with its bold, music-influenced clothing that merges fashion with performance wear. The Jensens, seasoned professionals in music and design, revealed their move to Arizona in late 2024, attracted by the state’s artistic energy and supportive business environment.
“We wanted a place where we could grow, create, and connect directly with our fans,” stated Stephen Jensen. “Goodyear and the greater Verrado area had the kind of spirit we were looking for.”
Wornstar’s new site at 540 N Bullard Ave, Suite 23-24, Goodyear is not just an ordinary retail shop. Part boutique, part rock museum, the shop envelops customers in a realm of classic concert posters, uniquely crafted guitars, exceptional music collectibles, and, naturally, displays of iconic Wornstar clothing.
Renowned for their bespoke jackets, worn graphic tees, and rugged jeans, Wornstar’s creations have appeared onstage alongside rock icons like Alice Cooper, Vinnie Paul, and members of Motley Crüe. Each piece of clothing appears tailor-made for the limelight — even if that limelight is simply your upcoming evening out in Verrado.
Staying true to their strong ties in the music industry, Wornstar is not merely selling apparel — they’re fostering a community. Their grand opening in November 2024 showcased an acoustic performance by renowned rock guitarist Damon Johnson, providing fans with a unique, personal experience while exploring new collections. Ongoing in-store events, signings, and exclusive releases will be included in the strategy ahead.

“We see this store as a place to connect — whether you’re a musician, a fan, or just someone who loves bold, authentic fashion,” stated Sylvia Jensen. “We’re not here to follow trends. We’re here to make statements.”
Although the main Arizona site is still in Goodyear, the brand’s reach is gradually expanding westward. As Verrado Marketplace—a $275 million retail and entertainment hub—is being built and expected to launch in 2026, there is speculation that Wornstar might extend its operations directly into the community. The Marketplace will showcase a blend of national brands, eateries, and boutique labels, offering Wornstar an excellent chance to broaden its audience. While no formal statement has been issued, the brand’s participation in community events and its growing appeal among Verrado’s stylish residents have only amplified the discussion.
As Verrado expands, its hunger for culture, uniqueness, and style grows — qualities that Wornstar abundantly provides. Whether you’re a devoted rocker, a casual festival attendee, or simply seeking a getaway from bland suburbia, Wornstar’s debut adds an edge to the shopping scene in the West Valley. From stages in Chicago to streets in Arizona, Wornstar Clothing is demonstrating that rock music never faded — it simply moved to a new zip code.
