Spring Break is upon us Vipers! If you’re staying in Arizona for this spring break, there are a lot of fun locations to explore right here. You don’t even need to spend money on some of these.

The first on this list you may already know from TikTok due to it going viral recently, and that is Amici Pizza up in Mesa. Going viral for their tasty pizza, grand pasta, and their iconic Shirley Temple. Run by Kateri Cusumano and Vinny Pante, the place has been open since 2019. They have reasonable prices, like their 18-inch pizza being around 18 to 30 dollars, depending on the pizza.

Other stores that have opened already include Studio Linea Salon, Thrive Swim and Ride Shop, Signature Barbershop, Manna Movement Pilates, Pretty Q Nails & Spa, and West Rose Tasting Room. All these places vary in price depending on what you wanna do there, but you could also just enjoy the nice atmosphere there. Now, outside the store, there are tables and benches where you can sit and enjoy the area. With all the new animal statues and murals, it brings a welcoming environment.

Arizona Boardwalk is an underrated place in Scottsdale, it has multiple attractions and shops. The attractions are the following: the OdySea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland, UFO Experience, Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, Laser & Mirror Maze, Museum of Illusions, Clueville, Pangaea: Land of Lost Dinosaurs, Cyber Quest, and the Boardwalk Carousel. All have separate fees to enter their attractions, but even then, it’s fun just to walk around and enjoy their monthly events and stores. The stores are gift stores for attractions and trading post centers.

At the Boardwalk, there is an actual event during Verrado High School’s spring break, an Art and Craft show filled with vendors. It’s happening on March 15th to 16th. It will include free activities like face painting, sand art projects, a bead bar, a DJ, and more! This is all free to experience, and you can shop at the vendors there if you choose to. All of this is provided by the Wounded Woman Warrior Institution that supports female veterans with finding the resources they need in their lives.

If you don’t wanna leave the neighborhood, you can hang around the new Sunrise Market that is developing on Main Street. With Haymaker just opening, it adds a new place to dine in the area. It serves breakfast and lunch items, from omelets to burgers. It has just about anything, depending on your mood. Sunrise Market also has Bosa Donuts. As the name suggests, it serves pastries along with many options of drinks such as specialty sodas, milkshakes, and boba.

If you wanna be active, you can always go to the victory stairs or any other hiking paths in Verrado. With the nice cool weather before the heat hits Arizona this summer.

Either way, there are a ton of things to do in Arizona despite the acres of sand here. You just have to know where to go!
