Born in the state of Virginia in November of 2005. However, it wasn’t long after he was born that his parents moved all the way to Glendale and stayed there for around two years until moving to Verrado and since then he and his family have lived in the same house since then. Garrett is an only child, so he doesn’t have any siblings to either terrorize or be terrorized by, so he spends time with his mom and/or dad. But when he’s alone, he plays video games on his Xbox with friends, reads either books or manga and watches TV or whatever he finds interesting on YouTube.
Garrett took up Journalism because he thought it would be fun. Being able to write stories about whatever is happening either on campus or out in the real world sounds like a fun learning experience for him. Another reason why he took up Journalism is to hopefully improve his writing, as he likes to write stories and hopes that being good at writing stories could hopefully get him a job at designing or writing the storyline of a video game because getting into the video game industry is a dream of his.
Garrett hopes that in taking Journalism, he can do what was mentioned above, but also give insight into the gaming industry like what games are popular and why, what games/gaming studios are under controversy because that does happen quite frequently, and what gaming studios have come up with to release to the general public. Or alternatively, spread awareness about some kind of charity a YouTuber or Twitch streamer is doing, or whatever controversy some TikToker, YouTuber, or streamer is under for whatever reason. But all in all, he hopes that in taking journalism, what he writes is still entertaining in a positive way.
