Devon Starks had a fun childhood. He would adventure around his neighborhood and run wild. His parents never really cared as long as he came back. Devon grew up in a family of 8, as well as a family of 4 more. When Devon was young his parents split and he has been going from Tucson to Phoenix weekly.
Living all around Arizona allows for a ton of different experiences. All those experiences shape who you are, and Devon is no different. Being a part of a split family usually is different from family to family. Devon had a 2-and-a-half-hour drive every Monday and Friday. Due to Devon always driving, being in a car never bothers him. He used the time to write in a notebook or to tell stories to his family and friends.
Devon always felt that stories were important, whether real or fake, good or bad, Devon loved them. The only issue is Devon struggled with reading. Reading novels was never for him. He moved to watching movies and TV instead of reading. Due to this change, Devon ended up writing some of his own stories as well as sharing his ideas and moments with the world. Making a person feel connected through the words. Devon never pursued this until very recently so he definitely has a lot to learn.
Devon now lives in Buckeye and is a senior at Verrado high school. He spends his time still watching movies and shows, as well as telling stories. He hopes to be a film writer someday.
