Kaden Watts, Staff Writer
Born in Poway, California, a little city in the well-renowned county of San Diego, Kaden Watts lived out his childhood. Sports were a huge part of Kaden's early life as he lived in a household in which on every Sunday the Chargers game would be on the T.V., and adults would gather around and yell as if their life was on the line. Basketball also had a great impact on his life both playing and watching. Kaden also has a profound love for music, family, friends, and traveling. He hasn't been to as many places as he wants to but he hopes it will change very soon. He has been to New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Texas. The next destination he hopes to visit is Japan as it has been his dream destination for as long as he can remember.
Kaden’s passion for journalism was recently acquired on his trip out to New York, where he stayed with his grandma's childhood friend who was a hairdresser for the Fox News station in downtown Manhattan. He had the chance to get a personal tour of the fox news station she worked at where he went on different sets and even got to talk to the anchors on one of the sets during a commercial break. It was a once and a lifetime experience that he will never forget as it developed his love for journalism.
