Spirit Week is coming up. If you don’t have an outfit plan, we’ve got you! From September third to the sixth of the school year, Verrado High School invites its students to participate in Spirit Week to show some pride! Of course, in an appropriate manner. Remember that anything that is deemed distracting or harmful to the school’s environment will be dealt with. Keeping that in mind, we want you to be creative with the themes! 
The first day on Tuesday is PJ day! Now you could go a couple of ways with this theme. The easiest and most popular probably being just wearing a pair of pajama pants. The most common ones you’ll see tomorrow will probably be Spider-Man and Hello Kitty pants.

You could also just wear a full-set top and bottom PJ set. Accessories you could wear tomorrow include fun things like bunny slippers and sleeping masks. Matching PJs with your friends or partner could be a fun idea too. Whatever you wear, just come cozy. Just make sure you don’t fall asleep in class!

Day two of Spirit Week is Bring Anything but a Backpack Day. Now there are a ton of rules associated with this day. Whatever you bring to hold your school supplies must be something you are able to hold in your hands by yourself.

This is to ensure the safety of other Vipers while passing in the hallways and to eliminate the chance of someone getting hit with a replacement backpack. You can do smaller items like a laundry basket, pillowcase, suitcase, and cooler.

Day three is Jersey Day. With Jersey Day, you can go as your favorite sports team. You can wear a football, baseball, soccer, or any other sports jersey. Also, you can choose to represent our home teams, like the Cardinals or the Diamondbacks. Even better, you can wear an athletic jersey if you play a sport at the school to show off your pride.

The final day will be the Black and Gold day. An example of what you could wear is throwing on Viper merch. Any other clothes that are black and gold will work as well. Have fun this week vipers!
