Greenhand Club Tours Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic

Next to the cannons were these two iron sculptures of animals, one being a horse (the one pictured), and another being an Ox, which is only a couple hundred feet away from the horse pictured and blocked by the horse in this photo. Unfortunately, the artist behind these sculptures was never told to me, and I couldn’t find anything about the creator on the internet. Right aside the Horse on both sides are part of my tour group, some dawning their Education First (E.F.) Tours backpacks.

Last summer as a part of Greenhand Club’s trip to the Dominican Republic to study and tour various agriculture-centric topics, such as touring campuses and plantations. Before we officially began touring these agricultural sites, we were first given a tour of the country’s capital, Santo Domingo, these photos capture some of the highlights of the tour.
