On Saturday, October 20th, Verrado High School had its homecoming parade and block party on Main Street! Sports teams and extracurriculars had floats themed after the Teen Beach Movie—many students dressed as bikers or surfers. The homecoming block party had many booths with activities, a bounce house, and a rock wall.
There were a variety of different things to do at the booths. Our Journalism Club did face paint during the block party. GreenHand Club sold seeds and let people decorate pots to have some plant pals. SkillsUSA sold candy and water while explaining the benefits of joining SkillsUSA.
These are only a couple of examples of what Verrado High School has to offer. All the music and activities gave Main Street a fun atmosphere and we hope you had fun if you went!
