On Sunday, October 20th, Conan Gray was at Arizona Financial Theater to perform for his Found Heaven Tour. Arizona was the 15th stop for Conan for his tour around the USA. The concert started at 7:30 pm. The Vipertimes staff had the opportunity to experience this concert and the VIP Q&A experience before it.
At 4:30 pm VIP members were shuffled into the venue early. While in line coneheads (The name of the Conan Gray fans) some gave out fanmade trinkets like bracelets and guitar picks.
The package included exclusive merchandise. It included a tote bag with Conan’s Face on it, a poster of the “Alley Rose” song cover, a Found Heaven logo necklace, a pair of Found Heaven-themed sunglasses, and a lanyard with the VIP ID shaped like the logo.
As the package’s name implies, it also allowed you to be in a Q&A session with Conan Gray himself! Around 5:50 pm Conan came on stage with his half-cold coffee to answer preselected questions sent in by his fans. The questions ranged from personal questions like what his favorite mug is to questions about his music like if he was gonna play his newest song “Holidays”. Giving the audience a maybe on singing it. After waving goodbye, Conan found the exit and left, leaving the fans to go buy merchandise or food before the concert started.
The Merch line had hoodies, shirts, and other miscellaneous accessories. It offered Conan Gray merch and Maisie Peters merch, Conan’s opener for his Found Heaven Tour.
At 7:30 pm, Maisie Peters opened up the night. With songs from her album “The Good Witch”
Conan Gray opened with “Fainted Love” that night and it was an energetic performance overall. The entire night was filled with love and emotion.
Our staff loved the concert. Aria Andersons said; “Conan’s concert was incredible. He has an amazing stage presence and sounds exactly like his song recordings live. My throat is still in so much pain from screaming the lyrics but I would say it was worth it!”
Our head graphic designers went too! Amelie said “The concert was a blast. I had been a fan of Conan’s since middle school and it felt surreal seeing some of my favorite songs by him live!”
Then Hannah added “The concert was amazing. The whole stage design and his stage presence blew me away. The vibe felt very much like 80’s disco, and his outfit reminded me of Freddy Mercury. Overall the concert was extremely impressive and he is a very charming performer” We all all very lucky to have seen Conan and would recommend his music to anyone!
Conan revealed a new unique take on his signature “ Bourgeoisie” tank, an inside joke with fans. The new text on the tank read “Fornite Jesus”, considering his talks about how much he likes fortnite it’s probably true.
Conan Gray is now sadly on his European tour with his next concert being in London on the 10th! But Conan here in Arizona won’t be a night to forget!
