In celebration of National Library Week, Verrado Library is hosting a Bookmark Contest, inviting all members of the community to participate. The contest offers a fun and creative opportunity for book lovers and art enthusiasts alike to celebrate the joys of reading and the library.
The guidelines for the contest are simple. Participants must create an original bookmark design that celebrates reading, a favorite book, or the library itself. Entries can be hand-drawn or created digitally and should be submitted on paper measuring 2 inches by 6 inches. If participants are unable to provide their paper, a template will be available at the library for use.
All bookmark entries must be submitted to the library by April 25. The winning design will be printed and displayed around the library, and the winner will receive a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card and a book-themed tote bag. The important dates you should remember are April 25: The entry deadline, April 28-29: Voting days, and April 30: The winner announcement
This contest is open to everyone, and we encourage all ages and skill levels to participate. Don’t miss out on this fun way to get creative and celebrate your love of reading!
