Teagan Winburg, Staff Writer
Born and raised in Iowa, Teagan Winberg moved to Arizona at the age of 15. She played many sports as a kid such as softball, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and track, but has continued to play softball at a competitive level as she is on the Verrado varsity team and a club team. She first started playing softball at the age of 4, and it now takes up most of her free time. Every day, she works towards her dream of playing at a collegiate level. Teagan plans on going to college for business and finance, following her mom’s footsteps. Aside from playing softball, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and traveling the world.
Teagan has visited 4 countries so far and has also been to many states. She loves going to the beach and tropical places and hopes to live in Florida one day. Since she has moved across the country, Teagan enjoys visiting friends and family in Iowa whenever she has the chance. With friends, Teagan enjoys watching sunsets and getting food or watching movies. Although it was hard moving in the middle of high school, she has made a lot of new friends and started to adjust to the Arizona climate and hot temperatures.
