It’s finally Fall which means the nice weather is here in Arizona. In the past few weeks, temperatures dropped down to the 60s and 70s with nice breezes. With the holidays right around the corner, finding stuff to do with friends and family is a must. Even though it can seem like there’s not a whole bunch to do around this time, you would be surprised on all the fun holiday activities that are perfect for you your family, and your friends, you’ll be able to make lots of fun memories these next few months.
An excellent way to spend the weekend is taking a trip to Tomachoff Farms in Glendale, a local pumpkin patch, where you can venture into their haunted cemetery maze if you dare, and of course, pumpkin picking for $2.50 per pound.
With an entry fee of up to $15, explore the yummy food and beverages, the Arizona State Fair closes this Sunday, October 30th. Head for tons of rides, shop at different vendors and see motorcycle or monster truck races. There’s also rodeos and animal exhibits, to enjoy with family and friends.
At the Salt River Fields, in Scottsdale, the Halloween Balloon Spooktacular is this weekend. Check out dozens of spooky balloons and do some Trick or Treating, and tethered balloon rides. Seriously, the Spooktacular is giving away 4000 lbs. of candy so you don’t want to miss it.
Road-tripping is a really fun way to see/explore new things, and there are so many places right here in Arizona to explore. You can visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World in northern Arizona. Visit the Grand Canyon, there are so many different trails you can take along with helicopter and hummer tours for a bigger experience. Sedona is also a must-go for the fall season, there’s a wide variety of artsy shops and restaurants along with jeep tours to see the mountains, and you can’t forget apple picking which is the perfect fall activity, Slide Rock Orchard is located in the Slide Rock state park, the orchard has dozens of apple trees to pick from.
