Verrado High School kicks off the first football home game of the year with a spirit week. Starting the week, students showed up to school on Tuesday in their comfy cute pajamas for ‘PJ day’. Students wore baggy pajama pants, loose hoodies, and oversized T-shirts.
The next day, students brought unique and creative storage for all of their school supplies on ‘Anything but a backpack day’. Students brought baggage such as suitcases, coolers, shopping carts, and laundry baskets.
On Thursday students showed their love for their favorite sports teams as they wore jerseys, baseball hats, and basketball shorts from a large variety of sports including football, volleyball, baseball, and basketball. Some of the students who participate in sports at Verrado High School showed up in their uniforms to show extra school spirit and pride for their sport.
Finally, Friday had come which meant lots of football and fun throughout the day. To celebrate this and support the football team students showed up to school in our school’s colors (black and gold) emitting an abundance of school spirit. Students wore hats, T-shirts, hoodies, and more in our school colors and logo. This ended off the spirit week with lots of high spirts and viper pride.
