Viper Times got a sneak peek at the prom dresses available in the Vault.

We are all aware that Prom is coming up!

I know that finding the right dress can be stressful, especially for a good quality dress that is not super expensive. For some people, it is the reason they do not get to go to prom. So if you are reading this and you need a prom dress, you should look into taking the time to stop by the viper vault, Wednesday, March 30th from 2-4 p.m. Our school will be giving out FREE prom dresses for everyone. That’s right they are all free, the only catch is that everyone has a limit to one dress. Which I think makes it more fun because then everyone has to take the time to pick the perfect dress to take home! The dresses will be held in the academic courtyard.

I was able to go and take a look at these dresses that were brought in for the event. I thought every single of the dresses was absolutely beautiful! There are so many different options to choose from, whether you are looking for a specific color or maybe a specific style. I am certain that there is a dress that can be a good fit for everyone’s liking! Although, the only catch is that there is a limit of one dress per person. My favorite part about this whole thing is not only that the dresses are free but they all were shifted.

If you know me well enough you would know that I love thrift shopping. I like the idea of the dresses being thrifted because all of them are unique in their way. Each dress was picked out to have a variety of different sizes, colors, and styles to choose from. This allows everyone who gets a dress for prom to not only express themselves with their fashion choice but being certain that no one else will have the same dress at prom. Which I think is comforting in the way that no one wants to see someone wearing the same thing as them at such an event. Another great thing about the dresses is that for them all being thrifted they are in great condition and you can try the dresses on before you take them home.

Overall, I think that this event and the process behind it all are very fascinating. Especially because our school took the time to pick out and observe all the dresses for us. The free dresses can help out so many different people, for every dress that is hanging on the rack. Everyone can go to the event in hopes of finding something to wear to prom this year. So with that being said, if you have yet to go prom dress shopping, make a stop here before you go out and try to find a dress elsewhere. Take the time to look into this event and participate in it!
