Every Thursday after school in the E Wing at Verrado Mr. Brown invites you to come and paint with them, learn how to draw/paint different types of murals, and other different activities.
This club is a place where current students here at Verrado High School can express themselves through art and learn different types of techniques to learn about art in depth and how to draw certain things. Students get to draw or paint different types of things that they wish to learn and their advisor, Mr. Brown is there to help teach them what to do.
“The main purpose for our club is for current art students and students who are interested in art to have a place in a time after school to express art and to be a part of the community of art in the Buckeye area.” Mr. Brown adds.
Throughout the school year, Mr Brown plans different activities in which students can decide as a group what they would like to learn to paint or draw. They help around the school by painting various types of murals on the walls of our school. Students contributed to assemblies a few years ago during the holiday season by painting some murals for the Verrado High School Assemblies.
The club’s goal for this year is to save up enough money from events and fundraisers to plan a Disneyland Trip. Art Club wants to end the school year with something exciting that art students will enjoy.
If you would like to attend Art Club, every Thursday around 3:05-3:15 P.M, they will have meetings.
Any questions on Art Club can be answered by the Advisor – Mr. Brown in room E30!
