Valarie Alvarado, Around Campus Editor
Valerie was born in Arizona but is Mexican and Honduran. She has lived with her mom and sister for most of her life now. Valerie Alvarado loves listening to music but is also active when she wants to, sometimes she's sleeping, sometimes she's playing soccer and sometimes she's cleaning or sometimes she's just writing about her day. Valerie loves dancing to Mexican music even with her friends just for fun or even just hanging out with her family.
She has a dog named Rosie and she absolutely loves her. Talking about her dog, let's talk about what she wants to do after college. Valerie wants to help animals one because she loves all of them and two because she likes helping people and she knows that her dog means so much and if anything would happen to her dog she would want and be so grateful for that person to help her out. Now she wants to do the same for people. She has always had a kind sweet heart for animals and it's not just talking about dogs and cats we are talking about a lot of other animals (ex. Birds, hamsters, bunnies, etc.). So, when Valerie gets out of college she wants to go into a good college that helps get her a degree as a veterinarian.
That's not all Valerie loves, sports. Meaning soccer, this means during college and when she is in her senior year she would love to try and get a scholarship for soccer so she can keep playing in college. That's why this year she's trying out for the soccer team and hopefully she makes it on the team. This is Valerie's first year at Verrado highschool coming into her sophomore year and hopefully will be able to graduate here.
