The Verrado boys’ basketball team took on the Copper Canyon boys’ basketball team on Thursday, December 7th at Copper Canyon’s court. Throughout the game, there were lots of different emotions on both ends. Up
until the 4th quarter, the game was neck and neck, and then Verrado took over enhancing their lead by more than 12 at one point. Some star players included Samson Chabala who was able to hold onto the ball well and score, and Brady Wadsworth who was a monster at rebounding and could also score at will. The boys went on to win 61-51.
