Coachella 2024 takes over this year with a bunch of music favorites in the media today. With the eight stages, artists put on their best performances for Coachella attendees. As well as a controversial spin to attending the Californian desert event, Coachella was a highlight this 2024, so let’s review.

Our headliners on the Main Stage presented are Lana Del Rey, ‘Tyler, the Creator, Doja Cat, and No Doubt, followed by other big performers like Peso Pluma, Lil Uzi Vert, Sabrina Carpenter, J Balvin, Bebe Rexha, Young Miko, Record Safari Blur, Sublime, Santa Fe Klan, Jack Glam, Carín León, YG Marley, Ludmilla, Talón.

With an amazing set, Lana Del Rey rides into Coachella with a bike gang as her entrance. During her set, she plays nostalgic songs like Summertime Sadness, National Anthem, West Coast, Ride, and more. She also played new songs from her recent album, “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd,” like A&W, and Candy Necklace, along with her surprise guest Jon Batiste.

Lana Del Rey also brought out singer Billie Eilish as a surprise guest during the first week. The two performed their songs Ocean Eyes, and Young & Beautiful. And in the following weekend, Lana brought out singer Camilla Cabello for a live debut to perform her new single “I Luv It.”

Odd Future member Tyler sets in his vintage vibes with a comedic relief to night two with popular songs like Igor’s Theme, WUSYANAME, BEST INTEREST, NEW MAGIC WAND, and more.

For his guests in the first week, he brings out rapper A$AP Rocky to perform “Who Dat Boy,” as well as Donald Glover ‘Childish Gambino’ to perform RUNNING OUT OF TIME. After each of their performances, he gives the crowd a laugh expressing how he used to dislike the fellow artist he had performed with. Charlie Wilson & Kali Uchis also join Tyler singing each of their popular songs, EARFQUAKE and See You Again.

In the last week, Tyler brings out his good friend Earl Sweatshirt from Odd Future, to perform “A**Milk,” and “Rusty.”
Doja Cat makes history as the first female rapper to headline Coachella.

Shocking the crowd with her intense performance to the song, “Demons,” dressed in a long blonde wig, leading into an interludic scene of her cutting off her hair into a short look, as seen in her more recent promos, which led into the song “F**k The Girls.”

During her set in weekend one, she takes the stage with 21 Savage performing “n.h.i.e,” Teezo Touchdown performing “MASC,” and A$AP Rocky performing “URRRGE!!!!!!!!!!,” and a second appearance from Teezo Touchdown during weekend two.

These three headliners gave remarkable performances, but let’s recap some other performers and their highlights.
The Mexican singer Peso Pluma hits the main stage with his popular songs like “BALLAKEO” with singer Anitta, “Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabón Armado, Nueva Vida, Quema, and more.

Lil Uzi Vert hits the crowd with new music and old hits.

Sabrina Carpenter gets the crowd live with her famous song performed live, “Nonsense.”

Jhene Aiko brings out chill vibes with her melodic and emotional hits, and even brings her daughter, Namiko, to perform her dedicated song to her, along with her – a full circle moment.

Ice Spice jumps up the crowd with her back-to-back hits like Munch, Deli, In Ha Mood, Bikini Bottom, and more.
There were many other artists not listed who blew their stages away during the two weeks of Coachella as well as these artists did.

Now let’s get into the controversy of Coachella and Influencers. People on social media call Coachella the event for views and fame as many TikTok influencers flood the gates for clips and videos for their pages. Although Coachella has been known to be “that” influencer, YouTuber vibed event, it seems to have gotten worse after TikTokers joined the mix these past years. It seems as if these influencers rush to their bragging rights for Coachella, and the big question is, is it destroying the business?

All tickets are now on pre-sale for Coachella 2025. What’s to come next year?
