Gabriel Santiago, who is better known as Gabe enjoys going to the gym frequently. Gabe sees it as not only an activity but something he enjoys and is beneficial for him. It is also his safe space. It wasn’t until recently Gabe realized he enjoyed writing when, as a kid, he would start writing small narratives. He has always enjoyed writing in any English class especially when he was able to have an open imagination about what he was writing. Gabe is very excited to start his 3rd year as a viper, and his first year taking a journalism class. He is excited to explore what he is really capable of when it comes to writing.

Gabe’s family holds a special place in his heart. Growing up with 3 other siblings, a younger sister, an older brother, and another older sister. His older brother was always his role model and he looked up to him more than anyone. Gabe was faced with a tough matter when his older brother left for college, leaving Gabe to learn and grow for himself. However, Gabe is more than ready to tackle this challenge and see what he is really capable of.
