Kay-Lee Ann Hunter was born into a small military family in Austin Texas in 2005.  As a result of her family’s nomadic way of life, this has allowed her to live in many different cool places.  Living in nine whole different states in her sixteen years of life has strongly impacted her to have such great social skills, experience diverse communities, and grow many personal memories and experiences traveling the nation. Many of her best memories were when she lived in South Korea from 2016 to 2018.

Her parents, Jerrick and Ann Gee Hunter raised her to be a well-rounded person. Whether it be from her academics, taking hula and Bollywood lessons, going to interracial camps in Korea, competitive dance, active participation through her church and faith, sports, etc. This was beneficial for her because she’s a multiracial female, and being well-rounded helped her gain confidence through her identity.

While balancing her academics, she works in Verrado’s Center on Main as an ambassador in her free time. She plans to finish up her credits here at Verrado high school and attend the University of Austin Texas hopefully in 2023. She really loves Texas because she was born there, and the majority of her American family members live there. She loves being home around them, they’re her support system. After graduating and majoring in nursing, she plans on finishing her residency, becoming a travel nurse for a few years, to then becoming a government nurse on a more serious note. A few of her goals are to one day get married, start a big family, save and make a lot of her well-deserved money, and build her own house somewhere in Texas.
