Caleb Balos, Graphic Arts Contributor
Caleb has spent most of his life in the sunny state of Arizona. Growing up, he has learned and loved to be creative. Ever since elementary school, he has always enjoyed drawing, learning to find a love for visual expression and the beauty of art. This being his first year participating in the school paper, Caleb hopes to be able to make an impact through attributing to the paper’s visual aesthetics and aid in The Viper Times’ social media presence.
Caleb also enjoys serving at his church. In his 3 years of high school, Caleb has gone on multiple mission trips with his church and loves to be around his church community, doing this by attending services and volunteering at the café at his church. This is where he also found a love for being a barista and meeting new people, later attributing to his current job at Dutch Bros.
Caleb has taken various AP and honors classes, maintaining a high GPA and hoping to be accepted into an in-state college studying visual marketing through graphic design. He is currently in a graphic design internship through Verrado High School to further prepare him for that future.
Caleb also loves to listen to music and spend time with family and friends. He has very fond memories of spending time with his family and cousins and continues to enjoy being connected with his extended family. He also loves all the memories he has made with his friends in high school so far and is nervous but excited for what this new season of life will bring after his 4 years at Verrado High School.
