Gabby Comer, Editor-in-Chief
Ever since 5th grade, when her girl scout troop went to tour a news studio. Gabby Comer has known she wanted to be a journalist. Making her childhood dreams come true, she is ecstatic to be stepping into her 3rd year as a member of the Viper Times staff, and her second year as Editor-In-Chief. She hopes to make a lasting positive impact on the paper in her final year, just as the paper has for her in her time at Verrado High School.
Originally from Texas, she is just a Texas girl trying to find her way in a hotter and drier place people call Arizona. Although she misses home, she has grown to value her time at Verrado, and make the best of it. She spends her free time watching football (Go Niners! and Hook’em Horns!), listening to Taylor Swift or country music, running, hanging out with friends, and acting in school productions for the Verrado Theatre Program.
At Verrado, she is also, a freshmen mentor, number 1 in the senior class, and Theatre Club Vice President. In the future, she plans to go to college out of state, in a big city, majoring in journalism, with an eventual goal of going to law school.
